It’s the idea of this thesis to analyse, if UML is appropriate for designing software, which is developed with the help of VB.NET. This will be proved with the help of the design and the accomplishment of a software for electronic questionnaire, which is developed as a project. The used tool for the UML diagrams is MS-Visio. Concrete it will be worked out: The Application of MS-Visio for UML-diagrams A Comparison with MS-SQL Enterprise Manager and VS.NET A Comparison of the effort with manual created charts on paper The Integration of Visio with VS.NET The Usage in practice A Description of asynchronous procedures The Exertion of the UML-diagrams in MSF usage Up to now UML has only been used with C++ and Smalltalk. Due to introduction of C# and VB.NET on market, there will be a demand of object-oriented methods of de-velopment. |
