The website of the HTBL Pinkafeld currently is only a patchwork of single fragments, loosely coupled together. There is not much information on the website and there is no corporate design, which isn't what a visitor expects from a school website.

It was important to combine the single aspects of the web presence to one unit, especially enforcing a corporate design, so the user has an easy time navigating the website.

The project team set up, configured and designed a dynamic website, powered by a free database system, a content management system and user/role management. This should help keep the website up-to-date.

The website should not only contain information for external persons, but it should also function as a information source for teachers, studends and parents.

Different functions are administerable by different persons - user and rights management are possible.

The result of this project is a web-information interface for everybody. The portal consists of a database system in the background and a user-friendly content-management-system to ease the administration and maintenance of the website.
